fill for home quilt/comforter
I am looking to add down or feathers to a comforter I have at home to make it warmer--for my bed. Can anyone offer some advice on a) what to use AND b) where to source the feathers or down online?? Any help appreciated. Mike
I've been looking for a supplier as well... hoping to hear back on another thread! This is the only supplier I've located so far:http://www.speerhammocks.com/Products/Supplies.htmAll the way at the bottom... 900-fill down.
best down i've used (much nicer than speer) is from thru-hiker.com-Tim
Long thread about down sources on here a few monyhs ago.
Thanks, Joe!I'd already searched, but guess I wasn't specific enough. I re-searched, and found...http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=17041Hopefully helpful.
If its going to be for home use why not get the 750 fill from Bender?
if you need a lot you could get it here http://www.hungariangoosedown.com/bulkb.htm-Tim
