Best 3-4 week walk in either hemisphere for OCTOBER? Must be reasonably accessible by public transportation. Less logistics the better. Probably not NZ this time. Have spent quite a bit of time walking in NZ and will probably end up back in NZ during the early southern autumn. But North Island NZ would be the OBVIOUS choice IMO -- wonderful country. Lycian Way?
