Meteor bivy Materials on 09/29/2009 20:50:16 MDT Print View

I made the top with 1.3 breathable ripstop with DWR from Thru-hiker and the bottom is Silnylon. The mesh is no-seem.

The pictures are with my beefiest winter down bag, which makes the bivy look small. It is actually quite roomy and has a zipper that goes around the upper half of the bivy at the floor level.

Hey, what are the dimensions? I know sometimes folks make stuff to fit them - would it work for a 5'8" person of average height/weight with a NeoAir?

The Length of the bottom is 6'10". The girth where the mesh meets the breathable nylon ripstop is 70" around. I threw my NeoAir inside it and there are about 5 inches on each side of the coated bottom that extends beyond the sides of the NeoAir.
