WTB: BPL Thorofare Pants (Med), Cuben Stuff Sacks, Wool Gloves on 09/21/2009 22:26:41 MDT Print View

I'm looking to buy:

1) BPL Thorofare pants in size medium. ACQUIRED

2) Cuben Stuff Sacks. I'm in need of several, so I'm probably interested in whatever size you have.

3) Lightweight wool gloves I can use for handling my pot.

Oh yeah.....size medium gloves. Something light (ie. 2oz) is ideal. My pot holder is 1.6oz and I'd like to replace that with wool gloves to add the multi-purpose functionality of gloves, without a large weight gain.

I have the pants, worn once, in the lighter color (tan). $50, including shipping?

I have a pair of army green 100% wool gloves that I'd be willing to ship off to you for $7. However they are almost 3 oz, so I don't know if that meets your requirements. I bought them for the exact same reason you are looking for a pair. I bought a pack of them as that was all I could find that would give me enough insulation in 100% wool for cooking over a wood stove.

If you decide to go with something else, make sure you get 100% wool and not something that has a little something else mixed in that will melt. There are many places out there that sell "wool gloves" that have some polyester or acrylic mixed in. Just a heads up for you.
