Gear that's left sale in the first annual “If You Want More Gear, You’re Gonna Have to Sell Some of the Gear You Already Own” Sale:

(List edited to delete sold items.)

Shipping included, CONUS. Paypal or Postal MO accepted.

North Face 550 Aconcagua down vest, large (Christmas gift. Great vest, but I’m a medium), never worn, $70.00.

Vargo Titanium Alcohol Stove, a bit brown from use, but otherwise in great shape: $18.00

Thermarest Trekker Chair, fits the small and ¾-inch Thermarest pads (like the one for sale above, hint, hint) $22.00 separately, but I’ll give you a deal if you buy the pad and the chair together.

Gregory Z55 BP (2008 version), medium torso, blue and gray, hydration sleeve trimmed out and its many straps trimmed down. Has quite a bit of use, but its in excellent condition, $70.

Two Black Diamond oval mountaineering caribiners (2x4 inch), $8.00 for the pair

Petzl Tikka Plus Headlamp (4 LEDs), 28.00

Thermarest Compressible pillows:
Medium, orange, $20.00
Large, blue, $20.00

MSR Dromedary hydration system, 2L, with bag, tube and bite valve (red version). Used once, not my style, $25.

Outdoor Research Bug Bucket hat/ bug net combo with its own built-in stuff sack. Worn once – to weird for my tastes, so I switched to a hatless net from BPL, $19.00.

Orikaso folding bowl, $3.99 (blatant attempt as cheesy marketing) or I’ll throw the thing in if you buy anything else and ask for it.

Smith and Wesson 44 Mag Tool in its original belt holder, a whopping 9 oz, but it has everything, including needle-nose pliers and a button that apparently lights up the Christmas tree on the White House lawn. $9,000. Okay, okay, I’m just kidding about this one. What was I thinking? It’s a great multitool, but the only thing I ever used it for was to open up dehydrated meal packages. $20.00 if you really want it. Wear underwear if you attach it to your belt. Tends to pull pants right down.

The Virga BP and Evernew pot are pending payment.

While I’m at it, let’s add

Thermarest Trekker Chair, fits the small and ¾-inch Thermarest pads (like the one for sale above, hint, hint) $22.00 separately, but I’ll give you a deal if you buy the pad and the chair together.

The Evernew pot, the Orikaso bowl, and the Vargo stove are gone. The Virga BP is still pending.

While I'm at it, let's add a Marmot Pounder plus sleeping bag, barely used, blue and gray with stuff sack, $75 shipped CONUS. (I replaced it with a very nice Nunatak Specialist.)

Sorry, I should have included more info. Regular, mummy-style bag, 2008 version. I used in no more than 10 nights, and it's in excellent condition. I'm 5' 11" tall and I fit into it well.

If you'll do $20 for the 2L dromedary bag and hose set up, I'll buy it off you.

Make it $22 to help cover the cost of shipping, and you're on.

You drive a hard bargain, man. But... I'll take it.

Just to be sure though: this is the black bag, heavier and more durable than a Platy?

Can I PayPal you at the address you gave above?

Re: Hydration-o-rama on 09/14/2009 12:08:18 MDT Print View

Much more durable than a platy, but it's the red bag. (The black one doesn't have the tube and bit valve, so far as I know, but I could be wrong -- I'm not much of a student of these matters).

Right. The one I have is longer and skinnier (fits nicely into my Dry Peak Bagger, actually).
