Hi all, I'm new here and looking for some information. I've never been one for winter backpacking, but recently I've had friends suggesting going to hot water springs for winter trips.

Since I'm always willing to try new adventures I thought I'd give it a try. There's one slight problem, though: I live in New York State (upstate, not NYC) and I'm not able to find any information on any hot water springs close by.

I'm hoping that somebody here knows of one in NY or PA, even CT would work. If anybody does, that would be greatly appreciated if you'd let me know.

This map has the info on NY state swimming holes. None of them hot though.

You could use the site to see what neighbouring states have to offer, but you seem to be a long way from the volcanic action there.

Yeah, already looked there. The closest one is in WV if I remember right. Oh well, thanks for the reply. :)
