I have a homemade SMD bivy that I bought off here that I'm willing to part with.

Is this the meteor bivy? If not tell me more; weight, materials, etc.

Thanks,
Aaron

"Homemade Meteor bivy-
Made before SMD began production, but using the template on their website. Can be seen in the link above with the tarp. Made from 1.1 oz nylon (top) and 1.3 silnylon (bottom), with nanoseeum for the upper, all from thru-hiker. 7.4 oz in a sil stuff sack. It has only been used with the poncho (a handful of nights) and has shown no weaknesses from being homemade. More pictures or close ups available on request. I am asking $70 for the bivy ($130 from SMD...)"

Hey Joe,

Thanks, but I think im gonna hold off and keep looking for a Ti Goat or MLD Bivy. The meteor would be a great option for the summer though.
