7.2 oz....battery seems to be the only weak link here and that you can't turn off the sceen and use the viewfinder.

Wish I had the money for this one...:)

At least right now it is $283 + free shipping at the URL you gave.

I saw it in at COSTCO tonight (Santa Clara, CA) for $249.99 -- I am not sure whether or not that means you can get the same deal at any COSTCO.

I picked up one at the Costco here in SLC last Thurs. I have a LX3 and this favorably compares for 90% of the typical pictures I take on trips and adds HD video with stereo sound and optical zoom as well. A great all around point and shoot for landscape and wildlife with great zoom capability.
