Hey everyone, I've been hauling my Xanadu 2 around the world on this year-long trip, but I'll be back in the States in a week and I'm about ready to get rid of it.

I only bought it bc my organization said we all needed free-standing 2-man tents for the year, otherwise never woulda bothered. But, for what it is, I really think it's pretty excellent. It's quite roomy for its size, great interior space, feels stormworthy though I've never weathered a storm in it. And the giant mesh doors are awesome for venting tropical air . . . at least that's what I used it for.

Anyway, you should read the detailed BackpackGearTest reviews for it, they're much more descriptive than I can be here. This may not be a good ultralight backpacking choice for most of us, but I think it's an excellent family-camping or traveling shelter just the same.

The tent's in great shape, only used for about 20 nights in the field (mostly in one place), well taken-care-of, almost like new. Hasn't been seam-sealed.
