Hi all.

I'm planning a 7-8 day loop hike south out of Road's End (Kings Canyon), and I'm wondering if there's any way to get there from up the valley on public transportation. Any ideas?

Long Shot -

When Skurka did the SHR he placed an ad in Craigs List for a shuttle driver. He got a number of responses within 30 minutes.

thanks for that. i checked out his SHR page, and found his discussion of that. it's defintely a possiblity, though i'd need a return trip at a semi-unspecified time, so i'm not sure it's ideal. i could plan to try to hitch out, but that might not be ideal either (especially post-labor day up that road).

i'll figure it out!
