So I wanna meld some previous ideas to make an UL pillow that is also ultracomfy. I have been using the dual compartment airflex the past several trips and while it is the best UL pillow I have seen I feel like it lacks in comfort, even after deflating some. I was thinking of using the following ideas:

So in a sense it would be a small inflatable base to give it some height at a very low weight and then some sort of foam on top (not as thick as in the third link though) to add comfort, and finally some sort of breathable, soft material to lay my head against.


ideas? where can i get foam suitable?

Taffeta is a comfortable cloth.

Polyfiber would be lighter than foam.
