One thing though, I will be going on the Appalachian Trail next year, should I plan to put extra money into my account when I leave? In other words, will it be automatically renewed this time next year while I am out on my hike?

That stinks cause I keep being told that some of the information that I will send over while completely my transaction will be unsecure. If that is the case, I got to make sure my credit card number is not going to be compromised :/

The transaction itself is secure, I checked the page code. You usually get that message when images or other various items are referenced over http explicitly (thus the images are not accessed securely).
