I don't know about that Jesus guy, but that "Jesus was SUL" thread got me thinking: Ghandi's minimalism probably qualifies as SUL.

I think it is unfair to compare someone who has the Power of Healing and no worries about getting bad vision! Gandhi had to deal with reality. They both believed in reincarnation, though.

I hope in 100 years when I die from extreme old age that there is a FAQ in Heaven that explains how Jesus hiked in the desert and mountains for 40 days. What was his gear list? The Bible says he was human as well as divine so he must have had a gear list. I don't recall Gandhi ever doing such long thru hikes.

What? This is a ridiculous scenario, not to mention unfair. Jesus is magic where Gandhi is a mere mortal. Besides you posted a verses scenario without naming the terms of the challenge.

It's a tough comparison because Ghandi's daily life is much better documented than that of Christs thanks to the media and technology.

Jesus did get to share equipment since he was normally with at least 12 other people.

And considering who we're talking about should it really be a "grudge match?"

I think this thread has lost some of its original context. When I started it, there was another ridiculous thread stating (apparently in total seriousness) that Jesus had been the first SUL hiker. I beleive that the bible had been cited as proof.

It was more than I could take.

Everyone knows that Otzi was SUL waaaaaay before Jesus was a figment of anyone's imagination.
