Insulation or shell? on 07/09/2009 13:56:11 MDT Print View

I the Houdini an insulation layer similar to the thermwrap? or is it mostly a shell for wind/rain protection?

I'm in need of a lightweight insulating layer... not sure if this would fit the bill. At $88 and 4oz I'm tempted get one anyway though.

It's a hooded windshirt. Windproof and very water resistant. Arguably one of the best windshirts available.

Here is another place with them on sale. I went with them because they're the only ones with mediums! The last few places went out of stock when I ordered :(
