This is a continuation of my mini micro 5# dry fanny pack from the G Spot forum. That started out as a hunting summer grab bag so I could spend the night out if I wanted. It kept on and developed into more of a full tilt ultralight pack.

Found a XPS hydration pack on sale for $20 with a 2L bladder at Bass pro shops so I thought I would try one of those out for more traditional hiking weekend setup.
This pack with the bladder weighs 2oz more than the Kelty Cardinal

Worked out pretty well so far.

I did change my water setup. Now it is heavier, but instead of 2 1L platys and drink through a fronteir pro I now have a platy 2L dirty bag, water dipper (bottom of a 1L bottle), sweetwater and an Aquamira fronteir pro. Similar to the Jason Klass setup.

Picture - stuffed at 12#. This includes 2L of H2O in the bladder, 2 mountain house pro pack meals, 4 servings of instant maple and brown sugar oatmeal, 4 servings of fruit mixed cream of wheat, 2 cup o soups, 1 cup of fine egg noodles, 2 8oz bags of GORP with M+Ms.
