I am a avowed SF Giants fan. I love baseball as much as backpacking and music. During baseball season I am torn between keeping up with my team and enjoy a beautiful hike. Does anyone else suffer from this disease?

Since you asked, the answer is "no".

"Your" team doesn't know or care who you are. It's a franchise. IMO, when it comes to physical well-being, active pursuit beats passive leisure.

I know, I know... not what you were looking for. But no worries, there are plenty of fans out there and I am sure they will be chiming in soon... :)

No worries Ben, Baseball is not for everyone, nor is organized sports. I just suffer from a life long affliction called the San Francisco Giants. We all have our guilty pleasures........ (smile)

So many games in a season, it doesn't hurt if you miss several.

I'm a cal bears fan. And no I don't have this problem. I've got a DVR and catch up when I get back. Somethings can be delayed and some cannot so I get out when I can.
