Reducing condensation in Lunar Duo on 04/13/2009 11:19:57 MDT Print View

Last night my husband and I tried out our new Lunar Duo. The overhead condensation was so heavy that it was dripping on his face and he felt constantly misted. He halted his testing at 3 a.m. but my side seemed drier so I made it to my 5 a.m. alarm. The vestibule cover on my side was zipped and out to a foot above the ground. On his side it was unzipped and hanging down. My imperfect pitching had left more creases on his side--which I imagine resulted in the water sliding to the valleys and forming drops. When I slid my side up for more ventilation it got quite cool. Any suggestions or is this "how it is?"

Alice,

Condensation in single wall shelters is subject to many variables. This is a great place to start.
