I noticed at the Gossamer Gear web site that they are selling '08 retrofitted Mariposa Plus packs in small and medium sizes for $125. For a person of the right build (me), it seems like a pretty good deal for a lightweight backback. The description says they have been fitted with new curved frame components, rather than the previous straight ones.

I had my Mariposa retrofitted with the stays, and I'm really happy with it.
