I was just wondering if anyone has any experience cooking in the vestibule of a BA Seedhouse SL2 with a top mount canister stove?I would like to know others mileage with this before I set my tent on fire or more likely melt a giant hole in the door.Specifically I have a MSR PocketRocket. I am planning on using a alcohol stove most of the time but by the great lakes our weather can make a canister stove worth the weight sometimes.thanks--scott
I have the exact same equipment. The vestibule on the sl2 is small and aggressively slanted, so I have always felt like firing up the stove in there would be a bad idea, and so have never tried it. I'd love it if you proved me wrong.
Bad, bad idea.
