2005 has been a great year for me, in no small part due to BPL and all of you here in the forums. I've learned a lot, laughed alot, and I would just like to say thanks! You all have coaxed me and my knees back to the mountains and I'm greatful.

same goes for me.

merry christmas to all. I have also learned alot, just one year ago I was hauling a 40 pound pack up to the mountains and to only hike 10 miles a day. well I have come a long way since then, I am now outfitted with the lightest of light gear and am now able to hike 30 miles a day. I owe alot of it to these forums ad this web site. (before finding this site in june, I had my base weight down to about 15lbs. but this amazing resource has got me down to 3.5)
