We took this trip with a former exchange student, Carlos, who was a boy scout in Spain while he came back for a visit this summer.It was also a chance to try out some new gear( A cat tarp from Oware and their double Dixon bivy). They worked out OK but my wife said " never again!!! ". Well I tried. Other than that we had a great time including a cooling off swim in Lake Superior.
