DIY kits included in round-ups? on 12/14/2005 07:12:34 MST Print View

I noticed in both the current down jacket and the older synthetic pullover/jacket round-ups the available DIY kits were not included.

I would have loved to see the BPL DIY staff assemble a www.thru-hiker.com Whitney (down), Kennebec (synthetic) and Kinsman (synthetic) kit to include them in the round-ups.

That's a great idea. We'll pursue obtaining the kits in January. If it works out, we'll put them together, evaluate how easy they are to assemble, and give tips and tricks to the process. Thanks for the idea.

Jay it still sounds like a good idea. Quite a few kits and public domain patterns out there. So whatever happened?
