Patagonia Micropuff pants NWT on 01/21/2009 13:07:57 MST Print View

Brand new pair of Micropuff pants , size XL, still with tags and in plastic shipping sack. I ordered them last week and they are just a little too big. I got a great deal and instead of returning them I thought I would pass the deal on to someone else- $77.33 (I had to pay sales tax) plus shipping, CONUS.

how big on 01/21/2009 19:13:45 MST Print View

So how big are these? For normal street pants I wear about a 35-36 waist and 36 inseam. I was looking at these on the Patagonia site awhile back, they were a great deal, but only in XL. So I'm really curious as to how big they are in the waist and the inseam. Thanks

they fit me 36x32 pants size on 01/21/2009 19:30:45 MST Print View

I wear a 36-32 pant size, and they fit me fine. I got the same deal, and was worried, but over pants/base layer the XL size fits me fine.

I am 6'3" and wear a 36 waist x 34 inseam (35 if I can choose it). The XL fits me great. I think the waist would fit you well and the inseam *should* be long enough, judging from the length on me.

Mike the previous posters have it right. I am right between L and XL.
I just got these last week from Patagonia! They are sending me their last pair of size large .
"ProLite Gear" has them on sale for $169.95 down from $199.95.
Mine are as new as theirs for only 77.33!
I'll have to send them back if no one wants this great deal...

A lot of 36" waists on here! Looks like not everyone is backpacking light! (sorry had to do it)

not light on 01/23/2009 04:48:22 MST Print View

LoL yeah, I'm not light but not heavy. I weigh five more pounds then I did when I graduated high school. I still wear the same pants size. It is hard to get a 48" chest in anything less then a 36" waist.

Well, there's your problem! Sounds like you're hiking your pants up too high!

Nice jokes guys but I'm still trying to give someone a good deal on these pants before I send them back to Patagonia.
They are sending me a size large to replace these (they found one pair in the warehouse), when they arrive I'll be sending these back.
