Gossamer Gear NightLite pad length on 12/09/2005 16:01:28 MST Print View

So, Ryan J and PJ both say they'd prefer a couple more inches of length on the torso length NightLite pad.

Is there anything about the NightLite that would prevent folks from ordering the 3/4 length version, cutting it to the length desired and then scoring for folding?

How do you score a pad?

With regards to Jim's question

I cut and scored a 3/4 nightlight pad to suit me. It worked for me though I may have cut a little deeper than I needed to. But there is always duck tape.

I think the length is okay as it is. Mine stays outside the bivy and doesn't move much. Inside the bivy it moves around like it's got wheels.
