We were supposed to spend the 9 days walking in the mountains around Tucson, but the storm that closed the Seattle Airport on Dec 21 caused our flight from Juneau to be canceled. All seats were booked for 6 days, so we decided to stay here. We salvaged our holiday with long day walks skis and snow shoe trips. Also were able to spend four nights in various were Alaska Park cabins.

I am sorry that your original plans did not work out but I am glad that you salvaged your holiday in other outdoor activities.
