Could I make this tarp into a good sized Cat cut tarp?

it can be done. keep in mind that the seam runs across the middle, and to make the tarp with the seam running down the ridgeline, you could cut it so the 10' width becomes the length and have two 5' sides. (or smaller)
I think 10 long by 8 wide is great for two. any bigger and you have a sail!
