Closest, brightest Moon since 1993. Won't happen again until 2016.

Moon's average distance from us is around 239 thousand miles or 384 thousand kilometers. Last night it was 222k mi. or 357k km. About 14% bigger and 30% brighter.

Saw it last night and then went out walking before sunrise.

Just went out to see the full moon again and realized that part off it is missing. OMG! A lunar crisis. Where will it end - in darkness - probably in just weeks!

So you know what we need to save our world?

A freekin lunar BAILOUT!
