To partly answer my own question the Specter is now on Patagonia's website, shown as being available Feb 17 for $225. Ouch on the price! It's listed at 6.5oz, and there's a jacket too at 9.2oz (full zipper and pockets/torso vents).
There's also some pants in a slightly heavier fabric, the Grade VI, listed at 6.0oz and $185, and a matching "mountaineering" lightweight jacket at 10.5oz.
