What can I expect to be charged by customs, etc.?

It can also depend on how it ships - try to get stuffed via USPS (postal) instead of UPS or FedEx. Often those two charge huge fees when you go to get your package. Postal is cheapest.

I asked that question of Fritz b4 buying a BushBuddy std directly from him. His answer was "no customs fees since NAFTA".

It was shipped postal and the postal services added no special fees.

depends on some arcane rules, I believe that NAFTA thing is on stuff made in US, Canada and Mexico but I could be wrong.
My experience has been that the couriers are very good at collecting customs or 'border fees' and that generally the post office does not on used goods. Although they are more likely to the more the item costs and the faster it is send.
Thats just been my experience though.

Oh, and if the courier fee includes customs (bc.com) then I haven't been charged anything.

Correct - anything made in Mexico, USA, or Canada can be imported without additional fees.
