Identifying Western Poison Ivy
Until recently, I have been unable to identify poison ivy so I thought you might like to see some pictures and information about the poison ivy native to Colorado: Western Poison Ivy (Toxicodendron Rydbergii)
I've never run into Poison Ivy in California but, at a quick glance, it looks so much like alder suckers it's scary. Our Poison Oak is much easier to identify, if you're paying attention.
The old saying "Leaves of three let them be."
