Protection for Ti-tri or Caldera stove on 09/08/2008 05:47:40 MDT Print View

Hi there,

I own a Ti-tri Titanium goat stove that works perfectly however i am looking for a better way to pack and protect it.
I think it could apply as well as other caldera stove model.

Any idea ?

It depends on which stove it's for. The smaller ones have a plastic tube available. You can also order a Caldera Kitchen from AGG. It includes a stuff sack so you can pack all of your stove, cone, etc into one bag. I use the stuff sack for my Snow Peak 900. My Brasslite 600 holds a cone with a plastic cup over the top of it (upside down).
See AGG's offerings:

They also have a "caldera caddy" now which works great and doubles as a cup and mug.

Yup, the Caldera Caddy is a perfect solution!

Newer models ship with the Caldera Caddy. It's great -- it would be perfect if it were designed to fit your mug inside of it too, but we can't have it all!

Dath wishes are granted.... (if you want to spend more money, that is.)

Good tips, I have the titaniium goat tri-ti 550, the small model.

caldera caddy sounds fine, but it is too small to proect both cadera and cup; that's what I was actually looking for.

Best regards,
Ivan

Oh, I see...does the cup need protecting (I don't own one so I have no idea), or would the Caddy nestle in the cup??

Cup needs protection as well (it is thin titanium cup).
