Getting from Burlington to LT northern terminus? on 08/20/2008 19:13:03 MDT Print View

I'm starting my southbound end-to-end hike of the Long Trail Sept. 15th. I think I've got everything planned except how I get to the northern end when I arrive in Burlington on 9/14.
I could probably hitchhike all day on the 15th but would really like to get started on the trail earlier if possible.

Can anyone recommend options for getting quickly and cheaply to North Troy??

I'm not arriving at BTV until around 6:30p but would love to get most of the way there that evening if possible.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
