It is olive green and made from a 1.4 oz double ripstop nylon. I like how this fabric feels. It is airy and soft against the skin, i'm not sure how much wind it will block or how well it will shed water droplets because this is the first thing i've used this fabric for.

I am on a quest to find the right insulation for my summer bag. I sleep very hot and this bag is still too warm for me.

Never been used just completed. I got the stuff for it hoping it'd be right but i made a bag using this for someone else and it is just too hot for me. I think it will be comfortable into the 50's, but i've not tried it.

I will also make custom quilts if anyone is interested.

When i took these pics i was standing at the foot and the perspective makes the foot area look much wider than it is.

Just a plug for Tim's workmanship. He made me a 40 degree quilt and the construction is top notch! It was a good experience all around working with Tim, and so far I couldn't be happier!

I'm looking for someone who might be interested in redoing a nylon rain fly from a commercial tent that is no longer sold. I'd like to get the rain fly duplicated in UL materials. Any interest?

i'm not sure that is within my skill set. I guess it depends on how complicated the fly design is. Most flys have a lot of panels sewn on curves with tight angles and i may not be good enough for that.

However, tarps, bug bivys, packs and especially quilts, thats what i'm about.

If you had some pics you could email tmarshall charterinternet com and i could have a look and see, but i think it might be out of my league.

I'll try to send some pictures to your personal email and you can take a look (may take me a couple of days). To my inexperienced eye it looks like all straight lines. I also managed to get a second tent. If the flys are exactly the same, maybe one could be used as a pattern.

Do you still have the quilt for sale?

If so, how much loft does it have? I'm trying to find out if I could use this for a 2-season quilt (say good to about 40ish for the average sleeper)
