You must get a bulk discount at WM. I'll consider buying the bag if you agree to change your avatar.

LOL - I wished. I could change it to the WM logo just for you!
Blame my spontaneous decisions to buy gear that I later regret. So youthful. Well, if you want it ... I will be around. Waiting for a change in Avatar may jeopordize your chances to get the bag though! :-)

FWIW, I have this same bag and it's a GREAT bag. You can shake the down to the top of the bag and easily push it a good bit lower than the 40 degree rating. Also opens up completely to be used as a quilt in warmer weather. Somebody take advantage of this great deal!!!

Scott, wrong bag. The highlite is sewn through with a half zipper. The 5'6" length should weigh less than 15 oz.

It doesn't. Both the Highlite and the Megalite are purple.

Only 5 WM bags come in red shells.

In the WM Extremelite Series, red bags are the Summerlite and the Alpinlite.

In the Microfiber Series, red bags are the Sycamore MF and the Apache MF

In the Gore Windstopper Expedition Series, only the Bison is red. This is the top of the WM line. Even Sven can't afford to speculate on this model.

I would have bought that bag in a second. However, the 5'6" length limits it. I would have bought for my son but at 5'10" I figure it was too short. I love WM bags.

The inappropriate posts, and their responses, have been deleted from this thread.

In the future, I would appreciate it very much if you (a) did not respond to inappropriate posts and (b) notified the BPL forum staff here: immediately if you see an inappropriate post.

We are also working on the REPORT POST feature so that inappropriate posts can be dealt with more swiftly.

I apologize to the community here for not catching this sooner.

In response to the original posts that sidetracked this thread, I offer this:

The content of this communications targeted inappropriate bias towards a forum member regarding sexual orientation. Whether the poster was kidding or not, whether it's true or not, and regardless of their intentions, this is unacceptable forum behavior at

If anyone disagrees with this, then I urge you to reconsider whether or not is the best type of forum community for you.

I discourage you from these types of postings because it serves no purpose towards's mission, and it destroys our community.
