For sale contrail, etc. on 04/29/2008 19:52:32 MDT Print View

I am thinning down my gear closet and have a few things to sell.

Contrail: This is the fall '06 model without the adjustable rear struts. I believe that you can contact Henry Shires and get retrofit kit for adjustable struts. I am the second owner of the contrail. I believe that the first user only set up the tent in his yard because it was not seam sealed when I received it. I have seam sealed the tent and painted lines of thinned sealant on the floor. I have used the tent twice on overnight trips. I pulled the tent out of storage this week and it is in like new condition. A repair swatch of silnylon, noseeum mesh and extra cord are included. It also comes with six 6” easton stakes. $140 shipped to the lower 48.

Montbell U.L. Comfort System Pad 90: I purchased this pad last summer and have used it twice. It is in like new condition. The pad comes with the original stuff sack and repair kit. $50 shipped to the lower 48.

MSR Miox: Purchased two years ago. Includes everything that came in the original package except for the packaging. $80 shipped to lower 48.

I prefer paypal but I will consider other payment methods if you contact me. I can be reached at: StuartLBurke (at) yahoo.com

06' Contrail on 05/26/2008 01:14:34 MDT Print View

If it doesn't have the extended rear adjustable poles how is it configured instead? Also how much to ship to AK?

If you look at the contrail info page on tarptent's website http://www.tarptent.com/contrail.html
and you look at the two photos of the rear of the tent it looks like the picture on the left. The version I have cannot be lowered like the photo on the right. The model I have is identical to the one reviewed by Will R. on this website. I would add 5 dollars to the price to ship to AK.
