Is there a list of colors somewhere that shows what color this material is available in? I've found used gear that has an option for Event, but not sure if this is the material or not. Low price on the gear makes it worth my time to go look, but I have not found anything yet. Are there any MYOG gurus in the know on this?

The color you are actually thinking about, (the outside) is the nylon shell.

How would one be able to visually identify it and differentiate from other waterproof/resistant materials?

If you go to the Event web site it list every manufacture that sells Event products.
