I know that there is an article or something on this subject but I can't find it. Someone told me that you can thin silnet with something to make it easier to apply.Thanks for any info.

use mineral spirits. 2 parts silicone to 1 part spirits. if you use a foam brush from the hardware store that is the right width (easily cut to custom dimensions) you can make it look pretty professional. instead of silnet you can use silicone adhesive caulking. its worked well for me. good luck.
