this is a list? on 09/05/2005 16:33:57 MDT Print View

are we impressed?

it's rather an incomplete list unless you're planning on wearing nothing but your poncho in a very temperate if not tropical locale-- perhaps in a nudist colony.

good taste in MLD products, though.

I always wear clothes when I hike. I just put the items of gear that I wear on my body & not in my pack in the bottom list. Sorry for not being more specific. If I dont mention them, people will tell me that Iam missing the essentials so I decided just to put them as worn items.

Items worn:

1) ACR Emergency Whistle
2) Micro Photon LED
3) Small Pocket Knife
4) Mesh Hat
5) Sunglasses
6) Small Compass
7) Emergency Poncho
8) Wicking T-Shirt

Also, I do wear DEET because if you don't here in Arkansas, you will get eaten alive by mosquitoes & flies, etc.

Looking good. This list, in my opinion, has seen the evolution from your other extreme low weight lists, without much in the way of comfort, to a still crazy-low-weight list with a more reasonable degree of comfort, durability, and functionality. Congratulations.

No sleeping pad? Stealth camp on naturally soft site?

No extra clothes? Not even a windshirt or Dri Ducks top? I find that 100% DEET sometimes will not get it for me and our local mosquitos.

4L of H2O purification would be pushing it for me in Alabama for a weekend...I might take a few more MP1 tabs.

Glad to finally figure out where you are located. I've seen your other SE lists and have been interested.
