I am a hammocker and want to use something similar to a liner/top blanket that's lightweight for summer use. I don't want to use down. I was thinking of a light fleece or wool or silk. What do ya'll recommend and where can I get the material? I'm a total noob btw. I just sewed my first project this week. Thanks for the help!

you can pick up a Neat Sheet ( http://www.theneatsheet.com/ )for about $9
they serve many purposes when used for hammocking. Cut and sew to your needs, or make a quilt/blanket. Good for the price.
