Er... The guys who designed it (can't rememeber his names) mentions that the alpahmids are designed with a flat front for a reason... mostly so that you can but it up close to a tree for added coverage (and for hanging the top from a branch. You should always turn the sloped side into the wind.
It's on Oware's site someplace... or maybe he's mentioned it on BPL, because it's not on the Alphamid Tarp page.
