When I were my capilenes under my nylon pants I get ridiculous static action. This tip was on an email my grandma sent me yesterday:Reducing Static ClingPin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you willnot have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works withslacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seamof slacks and -- ta da! -- static is gone.Safety pins to the rescue again!
Interesting. Safety pins always have a place on my pack as I like to secure drying socks and bandannas with them. Also I've used them to secure MYOG hipbelt pouches that wouldn't stay put.
I absolutely get a kick out of tips like that, not that it is relevant to me, but I just love simple solutions of this type. Of course we should all have at least a couple of safety pins in our repair/safety kit anyway.Franco
