I have not been able to find the 25oz. Heine cans this winter. The stores in N. Utah have replaced the cans with big glass bottles.

Are they still available in other areas?

I wish I had kept a few more around.

I haven't observed a disappearing act with the standard 24oz Heine can but I did see, for the first time, a 12oz size sold in a six-pack. Very exciting. The wall is similar to the wall design of the 24oz. Maybe kicking back a few cold ones will inspire me.

I'm not familiar with that store....

Problem is it burns so hot that I melted every windscreen I tried back then. Hmmm... maybe another attempt. Doubtful. I have to admit, it would be great for boiling corn - maybe in one of those giant keg pots :P.

I've got the top to a Fosters can (a bad joke Australia plays on the rest of the world) cut and drilled like Tinny's Sketti stove but I was thinking a Heinie can bottom. Gotta work out the inner wall as the upper half of a Fosters is a bigger diameter that the bottom of either jumbo can.

I did build a jumbo open top side burner like yours. It burns really hot and it can hold 4+ ounces of fuel but it is fussy and tough to light. It can cook spaghetti but if you are burning 4 ounces of Heet for one meal you should probably use another type of stove. Still fun to tinker with them...

I have to agree with you, not many people drink it here in OZ that should say something. Large Heine and Fosters cans are not available here I have to get mine from the US
