I'm skiing the Wapta traverse in mid January. Its a 5 day hut to hut trip and propane or white gas are provided in the huts. Days are very short (sunrise around 8 sunset around 4:30)with low temps around -25C. Occasionally, because of weather,navigation or injury issues, parties get caught between huts. Consequently, I am considering taking an esbit wing stove and a ti mug with me for emergencies.

1. What do you think of the stove choice?
2. Does anyone know where I can get the FireLite fuel tablets in Canada?
