Anyone have a source for #3 Uretek Continuous Coil Waterproof Zippers? Thru-Hiker is out of it, and OWF and Quest Outfitters only carry #5.

I replaced the zipper on my rain jacket with a waterproof zipper. I bought from a local gear maker when he was having his spring cleaning sale. Probably not the best solution for you - although he might mail order one to you.

Thanks, Sam. Thru-hiker actually had just enough zipper for me before their next order arrives, so problem solved.
I enjoyed looking at the products on the Empire Canvas website, especially the write up on the "Big Mitt". The anorak style seems to have disappeared from most manufacturers now, a style I really liked. I used to have a coated nylon Anorak rain gear that hung down over my half my shins. Great for paddling in the Boundary Waters! I also own a Marmot PreCip in an Anorak stlye, but its coating has worn off. Can't find them any more.
