About Me Started backpacking in 2010 while in college. Before then, I had never even been camping so the experience was new and refreshing. I enjoyed it so much before I knew it, my girlfriend and I were pulling the comforters from bed and things we "thought" we might need and were heading out to the local mountains every other month or so. Being somewhat out of shape and carrying 35+,it became clear that BPL was the only way to go! Since then we have never looked back! BPL is a passion for me and I am glad to be part of the BPL community!
