I had silt in my water despite filtering with a bandanna and decanting the clearer stuff. I am still around after drinking but using a coffee filter would have done wonders.

The new version I got doesn't have a drawcord and isn't fold in the collar. Tad lighter supposedly. Just a plain old hood but working with a ball cap so far.
