Boots for SCA Crew In my Experience, Vert stringent. They have quite a hefty rulebook of sorts. They are one of those orginizations where sometimes you jut have to do it their way, even if there is a better way. |

Old External fram packs I know that they get used pretty often on trail crews. Sometimes you need to carry 80lbs of lumber into the backcountry. Or a bunch of tools. Lots of heavy stuff is used in trail construction. |

Zpacks As far as classic sleeping bags go (i.e. not quilts), my knee jerk reaction would be that Zpacks makes some of the lightest. I have no experience with them however. |
