About Me I first was introduced to backpacking as a Boy Scout. One trip to Philmont and another trip to HH High Adventure Base and I've been addicted to the backcountry ever since. I'm finally able to afford getting some quality gear so I'm in the process of becoming UL. My favorite place to backpack thus far: Big Bend National Park. It's just so damn beautiful there. I'm originally from North Texas, so the southeast is very uncomfortable to me with its humidity. I do love having mountains within an hour drive from where I live, though.
