About Me I started backpacking in the BSA decades ago and am a Philmont guy...completed the elite Philmont Rayado Trek, Trail Crew guy and was on Philmont staff (base camp staff).

I was formally accepted by Philmont to be a Philmont Ranger, but cancelled my Phil-contract at the last moment because of an overuse injury.

I have already done a lot of lightweight backpacking in my past (but not UL). UL is hopefully in my future.

If you don't need numbers you migth as well leave now, as the goal of UL backpackers is to find the "best and lightest" gear for the job. It is sort of hard to determine the lightest without number...
