My Locale NEOH
About Me I started backpacking in the Northeast in high school with 3 buddies where we had quick access to the AT (Hertlein campsite). Continued through college and dropped off during the family-building years. Got back into camping with my sons and Cub Scouts which just fueled the need for more backpacking. Getting out on weekend+ trips for the past few years and loving it all over again.

BRM is my 'go to' breakfast
I know you mentioned the BRM soups which I haven't tried, but I can attest to using BRM for breakfast. I actually used Sarah's Super Charged Oatmeal recipe (http://www.trailcooking.com/rec...

Lots of good SAKs
Thanks. Trust me, I have studied the available SAKs extensively and that one was on my short list as well. I actually have the Swissbuck (Wenger) branded Remedy that I picked up in the '80s, b...

WTB: Victorinox 84mm Salesman model
Looking for a new EDC and I have narrowed what I want down to a few discontinued models (of course). I am primarily looking for a Victorinox Salesman model, but I would also consider a Voyageur....

Can't wait to see that!
I love my LuxuryLite cot, but it is usually just used for Scout and car camping. At 3# (first gen) I can't justify taking it with on a weekend BP trip since it is heavier than each of my '...

Just checked mine
I just checked the 8 Nanos that came with my Easton Kilo 1P and I couldn't tug off any of the heads (pulling for a while) and there appears to be a bead of clear bonding material around the sea...

I started with one of the older Jetboil PCS setups which I love, but I found it a little overkill for one person cooking water. I since have moved to my own version of their starter kit using an S...
